NEW PARTNERSHIP: Summer at Brookwood & MSA

Manchester Sailing Association is excited to announce a new partnership with the Summer at Brookwood camp!

During the summer of 2025, the Brookwood School will offer transportation to MSA participants who are concurrently participating in their camp. At midday, buses will shuttle participants between our locations. Sailors can sail with us in the morning and then take a 5-minute ride to attend one of Brookwood’s afternoon programs or vice versa. When enrolling in an eligible program through the Summer at Brookwood registration portal, you can request transportation to/from our locations. Transportation capacity is limited, so sign up soon before our programs fill up!

We hope this will make it easier for those involved in both communities to continue participating in both camps. We also encourage those who haven’t attended both before to check out what we offer! MSA is offering a 10% discount to Brookwood campers new to sailing. After signing up for Summer at Brookwood, please contact Tommy McCormick, the Program Director, to claim this offer.

Summer at Brookwood offers Day Camps in the morning or afternoon, and many different and unique afternoon Specialty Camps. Each Specialty Camp focuses on a unique area, topic, or theme, such as technology, art, or sports. All camps are divided by eligible age: grades 1 to 5 and 6 to 9. Additional information on Brookwood’s camp offerings is available at www.brookwood.edu/summer-camp.

At MSA, our summer youth programs are about adventure, skill-building, and fun on the water! Open to all youth ages 7+, whether experienced mariners or those who’ve never been on a sailboat, our programs teach the fundamentals of sailing, water safety, and teamwork in a supportive and exciting environment. Participants gain confidence, develop unique skills, and create lifelong memories. Join us this summer to experience the thrill of sailing and the beauty of Manchester's coastal waters!

For novice sailors of all ages, our half-day introductory Sea Urchins and Learn to Sail classes are available in either the morning or afternoon. Intermediate, recreational, and racing programs are available for those with previous sailing experience. To learn more about MSA classes, curriculum, and schedule, visit www.manchestersailing.org or contact the Program Director via email (tommy@manchestersailing.org).

Transportation will be offered to eligible registrants every week that both camps are open:

Week 2 at Brookwood & Session 1 (week 1 only) at MSA

June 23 - 27

Week 3 and 4 at Brookwood & Session 2 at MSA

July 7 - 18

Week 5 and 6 at Brookwood & Session 3 at MSA

July 21 - August 1

Brookwood is closed during the second week of MSA Session 1 (June 30 - July 3). We encourage enrollment in Week 2 and Session 1, but parents must arrange to drop off and pick up sailors at Tuck’s Point during the second week, as Brookwood will not provide transportation. Summer at Brookwood and MSA’s summer junior classes will open registration on January 6 and 8, respectively.
